What it does
Thirteen tabs in one file. Everything below happens on your own computer.
Where you stand
Six figures on one page, gathered from the tabs below, each with a plain sentence saying what it means. It is where the app opens, and there is nothing on it to type into.
Your money now
- Payslips Income tax, Medicare, HELP repayments, salary sacrifice and employer super on 2026–27 settings, for two people.
- Budget The envelope method, with each bill at its own frequency — weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly or yearly — so the whole year appears in one place.
- Balance sheet What you own and what you owe, today, with the difference between them.
Your money later
- Forecast Twenty years or more, in today's dollars or future dollars, with every loan amortised properly.
- Planned purchases A car, a renovation, a holiday — costed in the year it happens, from savings or on a loan.
- Retirement Super drawdowns at legislated minimums, defined benefit pensions, and an Age Pension estimate under both the assets and income tests.
- Where a year's change came from Net worth moves for four different reasons and only one of them is money. This separates them for any year you pick, then checks its own arithmetic.
The part most tools leave out
- A sentence after every decision Change something and the forecast says in one line what your change did — how the emergency fund moved, where net worth lands, whether the mortgage clears sooner. If nothing material moved, it says that too.
- Family meeting An agenda built from your own figures, and somewhere to record what you decided and why. Made to be printed.
- Kids' corner Pocket money, chores, four jars and goals, one tab per child.
- If something happened Wills, enduring powers of attorney, super death benefit nominations and where things are kept. No balances, nothing a thief could use.
- Scams and fraud Seven jobs worth doing before a bad day, and how long ago you did each one.
What it deliberately does not do
This list is here because it is the honest half of the answer.
- It does not connect to your bank. You type what you decide to type. Nothing is imported and nothing is transmitted.
- It does not give advice. It has no view on whether you should buy the house, and it will not rank your options.
- It is not a tax return and it is not a substitute for an accountant or a licensed adviser.
- It does not predict markets. Growth rates are assumptions you set, and the forecast is arithmetic on those assumptions rather than a forecast of the world.
- It does not sync between devices or keep anything in the cloud, because there is no cloud.
